The project is currently owned by Statkraft with a stake of 100%.
Rana is a reservoir based project. The gross head of the project is 520m. The project generated 2,123 GWh of electricity.
The hydro power project consists of 4 turbines, each with 125MW nameplate capacity.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Outokumpu under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years from 2005. The contracted capacity is 104MW.
