Description
The project was developed by Narmada Valley Development Authority and is currently owned by Madhya Pradesh Power Generating with a stake of 100%.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 3,920 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project are 56.4m and 47.85m respectively. The project cost is $332.94m.

Contractors Involved
Bharat Heavy Electricals was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 45MW nameplate capacity.
Bharat Heavy Electricals supplied 2 electric generators for the project.
Narmada Valley Development Authority is the O&M contractor for the hydro power project.
