Reckahn Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 98 hectares.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 11,700 households, offsetting 28,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $133.033m.

The project got commissioned in December 2010.

BELECTRIC was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 487,200 modules at the site.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 1 of its Sunny Central 500CP inverters to the project site.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 2 of its Sunny Central 630CP inverters to the project site.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 39 of its Sunny Central 800CP inverters to the project site.
