Description

The project is currently owned by Virginia Electric and Power.

It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Peakload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Transco.

The project generated 417,944MWh of electricity.

Remington Power Station (Remington Power Station Unit I) is equipped with GE Power 7F.04 gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 153MW nameplate capacity.

Remington Power Station (Remington Power Station Unit II) is equipped with GE Power 7F.04 gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 151MW nameplate capacity.

Remington Power Station (Remington Power Station Unit III) is equipped with GE Power 7F.04 gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 152MW nameplate capacity.

Remington Power Station (Remington Power Station Unit IV) is equipped with GE Power 7F.04 gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 152MW nameplate capacity.
