The project is co-owned by Axpo Power and Elektrizitatswerk der Stadt Zurich, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
Rempen is a pumped storage project. The project generated 60 GWh of electricity.
The hydro power project consists of 4 turbines, each with 4MW nameplate capacity.
Contractors Involved
Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of francis turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.
