Reoli Dugli, India

Reoli Dugli is a 430MW hydro power project. It is planned on Chenab river/basin in Himachal Pradesh, India. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2023 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2026.

The project is being developed by L&T Power Development and SJVN. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.

Reoli Dugli is a run-of-river project. The gross head and net head of the project will be 153.9m and 133.07m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, is expected to be 4 in number. The project is expected to generate 1,560.23 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $331.782m.

The hydro power project consists of 2 turbines, each with 5MW nameplate capacity.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.
