It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is crude oil. In case of shortage of crude oil the plant can also run on Diesel.

Arabian Bemco Contracting was selected to render EPC services for the oil fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Oil fired project. The company provided 12 units of 7E.03 gas turbines, each with 55.5MW nameplate capacity.
