Description

The project was developed by Enel and is currently owned by Enel Americas with a stake of 100%.

Rubi Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project generates 440GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 351,000 households, offsetting 267,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in January 2018.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Ministry of Energy and Mines, Peru under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.047kWh for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 144MW.

Contractors involved

Enel and Prodiel Proyectos de Instalaciones Electricas were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Risen Energy was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 560,880 modules each with 320W of nameplate capacity.

FIMER supplied 164 of its R11015TL inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by Soltec Energias Renovables.
