Description

The project was developed by MAPNA Group and is currently owned by Shamara Holding Group.

It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant.

The project cost is $2,500m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in June 2018.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Ministry of Electricity, Iraq under a power purchase agreement.

MAPNA Group was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

Rumaila Combined Cycle Power Plant (Rumaila Combined Cycle Power Plant Phase I) is equipped with MAPNA Turbine Engineering & Manufacturing MGT-70 (3) gas turbines. The phase consists of 6 gas turbines with 185MW nameplate capacity.

Rumaila Combined Cycle Power Plant (Rumaila Combined Cycle Power Plant Phase II) is equipped with MAPNA Turbine Engineering & Manufacturing E-TYPE steam turbines. The phase consists of 3 steam turbines with 160MW nameplate capacity.

Rumaila Combined Cycle Power Plant (Rumaila Combined Cycle Power Plant Phase III) is equipped with MAPNA Turbine Engineering & Manufacturing MGT-70 (3) gas turbines. The phase consists of 6 gas turbines with 185MW nameplate capacity.

Rumaila Combined Cycle Power Plant (Rumaila Combined Cycle Power Plant Phase IV) is equipped with MAPNA Turbine Engineering & Manufacturing E-TYPE steam turbines. The phase consists of 3 steam turbines with 160MW nameplate capacity.
