The project was developed by Invenergy and Xcel Energy. The project is currently owned by Public Service Company of Colorado with a stake of 100%.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 325,000 households, offsetting 1,000,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved

M. A. Mortenson was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 300 units of V110-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 3 years.
