Description
The project was developed by Aalborg Energie Technik and PowerCrop Russi. The project is co-owned by Enel Green Power and SECI Energia, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
The project generates 222GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 84,000 households, offsetting 117,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $135.587m.
Wood chips which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors Involved
Franco Tosi Meccanica was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project.
Aalborg Energie Technik supplied steam boiler for the project. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 542°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 122bar.
