San Jacinto Biomass Power Plant is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors Involved

TGM Kanis Turbines was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 1 unit of BT-40 turbine with 21.71MW nameplate capacity. WEG Electric supplied the electric generator for the project.
