Description
The project is currently owned by EniPower.
It is a Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is syngas. In case of shortage of syngas the plant can also run on Natural Gas.
The project cost is $587.076m.
The Coal fired project consists of 1 steam turbine with 88MW nameplate capacity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 2006.
Contractors Involved
Saipem was selected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project. The company provided 1 unit of SGT5-2000E gas turbine with 170MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens supplied electric generator for the project.
