Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Hidreletrica Santa Branca.
The gross head and net head of the project will be 42.1m and 41.04m respectively. The project cost is expected to be around $75.969m.
The project will have 2 electric generators installed at the project site. The generator capacity is likely to be 34.44 MVA.
Development Status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.
Contractors Involved
WEG will be the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company is expected to provide 2 units of kaplan turbines, each with 31.86MW nameplate capacity.
