The project was developed by Sterling and Wilson and is currently owned by Sao Mai Group .

Sao Mai PV1 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 270 hectares.

The project generates 302,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is $257.5m.

The project consists of 300,000 modules.

38 inverters have been installed at the project site.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in July 2019.

Southern Power and Vietnam Electricity are the power offtakers from the project.
