OMV and Verbund are currently owning the project.
Schonkirchen Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 13.3 hectares.
The project generates 10.96GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 3,400 households, offsetting 8,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $22.536m.
The project consists of 34,600 modules.
