Description

The project was developed by UDP Renewables. Nebras Power Investment Management and UDP Renewables are currently owning the project.

Scythia 2 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 50 hectares.

The project generates 42,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 13,300 households, offsetting 51,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $30.723m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in July 2019.

Contractors Involved

JA Solar Holdings was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 91,000 modules each with 365W of nameplate capacity.

The project is utilising trackers supplied by Kness Group.
