Shahid Abbaspour (Abbaspour (Karun 1) Phase I) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy francis turbines. The phase consists of 4 turbines with 265MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy supplied 4 electric generators for the Shahid Abbaspour (Abbaspour (Karun 1) Phase I). The generator capacity is 250 MVA.

Andritz Hydro supplied electric generator(s) for the Shahid Abbaspour (Abbaspour Expansion (Karun 1) Phase II).
