Description
The project was developed by DP CleanTech China and Shandong Electric Power Engineering Consulting Institute. The project is currently owned by National Bio Energy.
The project generates 150GWh electricity thereby offsetting 127,102t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $98.072m.
The process of composting has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 1 turbine with 30MW nameplate capacity.

The project got commissioned in December 2006.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to North China Grid under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Burmeister & Wain Energy supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 130TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 538°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 92bar.
