Description

The project is currently owned by Taiwan Power.

Shilmen is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 309 million cubic meter. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 2 in number. The penstock diameter is 4.5m. The project generated 230 GWh of electricity.

The hydro power project consists of 2 turbines, each with 45MW nameplate capacity.
