The project supplies enough clean energy to power 40,000 households, offsetting 85,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $239.304m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to The Chugoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 17 years, starting from 2009.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 26 units of V90-3.0 MW turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.
