Description
The project is co-owned by JERA and Tohoku Electric Power, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
It is a steam turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Imported from Australia and Indonesia.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in July 1994.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Tohoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 1,000MW.
