Description

The project was developed by Hayate Solar, ORIX and Solar Frontier. ORIX and Solar Frontier are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.

Shiriuchi Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 89 hectares.

The project generates 21,756.17MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 6,000 households. The project cost is $59.842m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in August 2019.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Hokkaido Electric Power under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 17.5MW.

Contractors Involved

Toshiba Plant Systems & Services was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Solar Frontier was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 141,568 modules at the site.

The inverters were procured from Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems for the project.

Toshiba Plant Systems & Services is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
