Salten Kraftsamband and Troms Kraft are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 76.3% and 23.7% respectively.
Sjonsta is a reservoir based project. The gross head of the project is 126m. The project generated 282 GWh of electricity.
The project has 2 electric generators installed at the site.

The project got commissioned in 1983.
Contractors Involved
Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 turbines, each with 35MW nameplate capacity.
