Description
Skeldon Biomass Power Plant is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 2 steam turbines.

The project got commissioned in 2008.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Guyana Power & Light under a power purchase agreement.
