Description

The project was developed by GETEC Green Energy and ROMONTA. The project is currently owned by GERO Solarpark.

Solarpark Amsdorf is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 55 hectares.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 8,000 households, offsetting 15,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $64.84m.

The project got commissioned in May 2012.

Hanwha Q Cells was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Hanwha Q Cells was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 122,640 modules at the site.
