Description

The project was developed by Webuild and is currently owned by Eneo Cameroon.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 10 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 39.2m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 8 in number. The penstock length is 4m. The penstock diameter is 6.4m. Song Loulou underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1995-2008. The project generated 2,356 GWh of electricity.
