The project is currently owned by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand with a stake of 100%.

It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant.

South Bangkok Combined Cycle Power Plant (South Bangkok Combined Cycle Power Plant Phase I) consists of 1 steam turbine with 100MW nameplate capacity.

South Bangkok Combined Cycle Power Plant (South Bangkok Combined Cycle Power Plant Phase II) consists of 1 steam turbine with 219MW nameplate capacity.
