Spindle Hill Power Plant is a 420MW dual-fuel fired power project. It is located in Colorado, the US. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in May 2007.

The project was developed by Invenergy. AMP Capital Investors and Invenergy are currently owning the project.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Peakload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Colorado State Gas Pipeline.
The project generated 205,948MWh of electricity.
The project got commissioned in May 2007.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Xcel Energy under a power purchase agreement.
GE Power was selected to render EPC services for the dual-fuel fired power project.
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Dual-Fuel fired project. The company provided 2 units of 7F.04 gas turbines, each with 210MW nameplate capacity.
GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
