Srok Phu Mieng is a 51MW hydro power project. It is located on Be river/basin in Binh Phuoc, Vietnam. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2003 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2006.

Description

The project was developed by Vietnam Urban and Industrial Zone Development Investment and is currently owned by Idico Construction with a stake of 51%.

The project generated 228 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $53.623m.

Development Status

The project construction commenced in 2003 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2006.

Contractors Involved

DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 turbines, each with 25.5MW nameplate capacity.

DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery supplied electric generator(s) for the project.
