Stalowa Wola Combined Cycle Power Plant is a 450MW gas fired power project. It is located in Subcarpathia, Poland. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2012 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in October 2020.

The project was developed by Elektrocieplownia Stalowa Wola. The project is co-owned by Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo and Tauron Polska Energia, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

It is a CCGT with Cogen power plant.

The project generated 3,500GWh of electricity. The project cost is $415.122m.

The project construction commenced in 2012 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in October 2020.

Contractors Involved

The Gas fired project have been supplied by Doosan Skoda Power and GE Power.

The electric generators for the project were procured from Doosan Skoda Power and GE Power.

Amec Foster Wheeler supplied steam boiler for the project.

GE Power is the O&M contractor for thermal power project for a period of 12 years.
