Stavropolskaya GRES is a 2,423MW gas fired power project. It is located in Stavropol Krai, Russia. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in December 1974.

Description

The project is currently owned by OGK-2 with a stake of 100%.

It is a steam turbine with cogen power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Heavy Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Stavropolregiongaz (Affiliate of Gazprom).

The project generated 10,382,000MWh of electricity.

Stavropolskaya GRES (Stavropolskaya GRES Unit I) is equipped with Turboatom K-300-240 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 300MW nameplate capacity.

Stavropolskaya GRES (Stavropolskaya GRES Unit II) is equipped with Turboatom K-300-240 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 305MW nameplate capacity.

Stavropolskaya GRES (Stavropolskaya GRES Unit III) is equipped with Turboatom K-300-240 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 300MW nameplate capacity.

Stavropolskaya GRES (Stavropolskaya GRES Unit IV) is equipped with Turboatom K-300-240 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 300MW nameplate capacity.

Stavropolskaya GRES (Stavropolskaya GRES Unit V) is equipped with Turboatom K-300-240 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 304MW nameplate capacity.

Stavropolskaya GRES (Stavropolskaya GRES Unit VI) is equipped with Turboatom K-300-240 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 304MW nameplate capacity.

Stavropolskaya GRES (Stavropolskaya GRES Unit VII) is equipped with Turboatom K-300-240 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 305MW nameplate capacity.

Stavropolskaya GRES (Stavropolskaya GRES Unit VIII) is equipped with Turboatom K-300-240 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 305MW nameplate capacity.

The electric generators for the project were procured from Kharkov Electrotyazhmash Factory and NPO Elsib.
