Description
Vattenfall and Umea Energi are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75% and 25% respectively.
The gross head of the project is 75m. Stornorrfors underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1985, 2010. The project generated 2,298 GWh of electricity.
The hydro power project consists of 1 turbine.

The project got commissioned in 1958.
Contractors Involved
Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of francis turbines, each with 135MW nameplate capacity.
The electric generators for the project were procured from GenerPro and TES Vsetin.
