The project was developed by Q-Cells and is currently owned by Nordcapital with a stake of 100%.
Strasskirchen Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 136 hectares.
The project generates 60,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 17,000 households. The project cost is $197.04m.

Contractors Involved
Hanwha Q Cells was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 225,000 modules at the site.
