The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 1,210,342t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $98.603m.

The process of landfill has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed.

Contractors Involved

KEPCO Engineering and Construction was selected to render EPC services for the biopower project.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 1 turbine with 50MW nameplate capacity.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 106.2TPH.The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 539°C.

ECOENERGY is the O&M contractor for the project.
