Description
The project was developed by Sunborne Energy Services India Private and is currently owned by Greenko Mauritius with a stake of 100%.
Sunborne Energy Mahabubnagar Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.
The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 57,213t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in February 2016.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Telangana State Southern Power Distribution under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.096kWh for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
Mahindra Susten was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Greenko Mauritius is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
