Sungai Siput Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 94.3 hectares.
The project generates 80GWh electricity thereby offsetting 50,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $60.266m.
The project got commissioned in November 2018.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Tenaga Nasional under a power purchase agreement for a period of 21 years.
Mudajaya Group was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Huawei Technologies supplied its SUN2000-42KTL inverters to the project site.
Sinar Kamiri Sdn is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
