Description

The project is developed and owned by Gujarat Industries Power.

The Hybrid towers installed at the Suzlon_GIPL_Kutch (Suzlon_GIPL_Kutch Phase I), site are 120m high.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the Suzlon_GIPL_Kutch (Suzlon_GIPL_Kutch Phase II), site are 90m high.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors involved

Suzlon Energy was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Suzlon Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 34 units of S97-2.1 MW turbines, each with 2.1MW nameplate capacity.

Suzlon Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 20 years.
