The project is currently owned by Stadtwerke Munchen.
It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is hard coal. In case of shortage of hard coal the plant can also run on Gas.
The project got commissioned in 1991.
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project.
Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises supplied steam boiler for the project.
