Description
The project was developed by Solarsteinn and Talasol Solar SLU. Ellomay Capital and Capital Dynamics are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 24.5% respectively.
Talasol Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 511 hectares.
The project generates 561GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 100,000 households, offsetting 63,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
336 inverters have been installed at the project site.

The project got commissioned in December 2020.
Contractors involved
Metka EGN was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 871,344 modules each with 345W of nameplate capacity.
Metka EGN is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project for a period of 2 years.
