The Tangedco CCGT Power Plant-I is 730MW gas fired power project. It is planned in Tamil Nadu, India. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2024.

Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel will be procured from Indian Oil Terminal, Ennore.
The project cost is expected to be around $489.757m.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.
