The project is developed and owned by Hunan Xinyu Taoshui Development.
Taoshui is a reservoir based project. The gross head of the project is 43m. The project generated 162.15 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $71.191m.
The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 23MW nameplate capacity.
