Description

The project is developed and owned by Hunan Xinyu Taoshui Development.

Taoshui is a reservoir based project. The gross head of the project is 43m. The project generated 162.15 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $71.191m.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 23MW nameplate capacity.

The project has 3 electric generators installed at the site. The generator capacity is 23.71 MVA.

Development Status

The project construction commenced in 2007 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2010.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Central China Grid under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 157.29GWh.
