Description

The project is developed and owned by Hsin Yung Enterprise.

The project generates 252.001GWh of electricity.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Household waste which is a kind of municipal solid waste is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Doosan Lentjes was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the biopower project.

Baumgarte Boiler Systems supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 85TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 400°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 40bar.

Hsin Yung Enterprise is the O&M contractor for the project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2013, for a period of 8 years.
