The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 51 contracts and an 85% share
- Project Implementation: eight contracts and a 13.3% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one contract and a 1.7% share.
Europe leads T&D equipment activity in December 2020
Comparing contracts activity in T&D equipment segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with 42 contracts and a share of 70% during December 2020, followed by Asia-Pacific with ten contracts and a 16.7% share and Middle East and Africa with three contracts and a 5% share.

Solar is leading technology for T&D equipment contracts in December 2020
Among the technologies, solar accounted for six contracts with a 42.9% share, followed by wind with four contracts and a 28.6% share and thermal with two contracts and a 14.3% share.
