The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 25 contracts and an 83.3% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three contracts and a 10% share
  3. Project Implementation: two contracts and a 6.7% share.

Europe leads T&D equipment activity in November 2020

Comparing contracts activity in T&D equipment segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with 22 contracts and a share of 73.3% during November 2020, followed by Asia-Pacific with four contracts and a 13.3% share and South and Central America with three contracts and a 10% share.

Wind is leading technology for T&D equipment contracts in November 2020

Among the technologies, wind accounted for nine contracts with a 75% share, followed by hydro with two contracts and a 16.7% share and solar with one contract and an 8.3% share.
