The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 249 tenders and a 90.2% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 22 tenders and an 8% share
- Project Implementation: five tenders and a 1.8% share.
Asia-Pacific leads T&D equipment activity in July 2020
Comparing tenders activity in T&D equipment segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 134 tenders and a share of 48.6% during July 2020, followed by North America with 103 tenders and a 37.3% share and Europe with 19 tenders and a 6.9% share.

Thermal is leading technology for T&D equipment tenders in July 2020
Among the technologies, thermal accounted for eight tenders with a 57.1% share, followed by hydro with five tenders and a 35.7% share and nuclear with one tender and a 7.1% share.
