The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 231 tenders and an 86.2% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 37 tenders and a 13.8% share.

Asia-Pacific leads T&D equipment activity in June 2020

Comparing tenders activity in T&D equipment segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 126 tenders and a share of 47% during June 2020, followed by North America with 118 tenders and a 44% share and Europe with 16 tenders and a 6% share.

Thermal is leading technology for T&D equipment tenders in June 2020

Among the technologies, thermal accounted for six tenders with a 75% share, followed by hydro with two tenders and a 25% share.
