The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 259 tenders and an 85.8% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 35 tenders and an 11.6% share
  3. Project Implementation: eight tenders and a 2.6% share.

North America leads T&D equipment activity in October 2020

Comparing tenders activity in T&D equipment segment in different regions of the globe, North America held the top position with 125 tenders and a share of 41.4% during October 2020, followed by Asia-Pacific with 115 tenders and a 38.1% share and Europe with 32 tenders and a 10.6% share.

Thermal is leading technology for T&D equipment tenders in October 2020

Among the technologies, thermal accounted for eight tenders with a 57.1% share, followed by hydro with five tenders and a 35.7% share and solar with one tender and a 7.1% share.
