Description

The project was developed by Ostro Energy and Suzlon Energy. The project is currently owned by Ostro Energy.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 28,000 households, offsetting 100,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $64.21m.

The project has 90m high towers.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.08kWh for a period of 25.00 years, starting from 2015.

Suzlon Energy was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Suzlon Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 24 units of S97-2.1 MW turbines, each with 2.1MW nameplate capacity.

Suzlon Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2015, for a period of 12 years.
