Description
The project was developed by Eiffage and Solairedirect. Meridiam and Eiffage are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 85% and 15% respectively.
Ten Merina Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 46 hectares.
The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 33,300t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $46.21m.
The project consists of 92,000 modules, each with 320W nameplate capacity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in January 2018.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Senegal National Electricity Agency under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years, starting from 2018.
Contractors Involved
Schneider Electric supplied 12 inverters to the project site.
